32BJ Health Fund Centers of Excellence (COE) for Surgery

Starting January 1, 2025, we are partnering with Lantern Surgery Care to offer you and your family many more types of surgery with a $0 copay.

The Health Fund selected Lantern as its COE partner because of their nationwide network of world-class specialists and their expertise in managing a wide range of surgeries with excellent results.

1. Mandatory surgeries: Bariatric, joint replacement (hip, knee, ankle, and shoulder), and spine surgeries are only covered when performed by a Lantern doctor.
2. Voluntary surgeries: You may choose to have many other types of common surgeries performed by a Lantern doctor.
