Bariatric Surgery Program

Through this program, you get care from Mount Sinai Health System doctors who provide care plans specific to your bariatric surgery needs. The program is only available with designated surgeons at Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital in Manhattan.

You will receive these benefits if you participate in the 32BJ Bariatric Surgery Program:

• Access to top surgeons in New York City and a comprehensive team of weight loss specialists.
• No co-pays for the hospital admission or for other specific services related to the surgery, such as follow-up visits with your doctor within 30 days of your hospital discharge. All co-pays for pre-surgical visits still apply.
• A dedicated team at Mount Sinai Morningside to assist you every step of the way.
• A Fund representative will be assigned to you to assist you every step of the way. If you need additional information about the program, or want to enroll call the 32BJ Health Fund at 866-230-3225, Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
• Car service to and from the hospital (this benefit is provided by Mount Sinai).
• Free patient support groups to support you in your new healthy lifestyle. Financial assistance to purchase protein drinks and vitamins (this benefit is provided by Mount Sinai).
